We’d like to remind everyone that thru Jan. 31 it’s Round-up Month at Spiral Natural Foods in Hastings. Spiral offers a wide variety of delicious and healthy foods, and during the month of January you can round up your total and benefit Animal Ark! Spiral Natural Foods is located at 1250 S Frontage Rd, Hastings, MN 55033 which is conveniently located near Animal Ark! Visit some delicious animals and enjoy some adorable foods…sorry, ADORABLE animals and DELICIOUS foods…and help support two noble missions. One week remains!

Doggie Depot: Feb. 1

On Saturday, Feb. 1 the historic Union Depot in downtown St. Paul becomes: Doggie Depot! This is an event we look forward to each and every year. Animal Ark joins many other rescues in this breathtaking venue for this fun event! Come meet our volunteers and several of our eligible canines. Learn about our rescue and how you can help through donations, volunteering, fostering and of course…adoption! Our goal is to return to the shelter with empty crates, and for you to go home with a canine companion who will fill your heart! Join us Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Union Depot, 214 4th Street East, Saint Paul, MN 55101!

Recent adoptions.

And finally, here are pictures of some recent adoptions. As always, it’s a little bittersweet. We grow attached to each and every one of the animals that comes through our door. However, we know that for every animal who leaves, there are a half-dozen needy cats and dogs that need a warm place to stay, and Animal Ark’s doors are open to them. Thanks to these adoptive families for opening their doors to our former residents! We wish them a lifetime of happiness…and if their faces are any indication, they’re off to a great start!
