Have you considered taking a more hands-on approach to your support of Animal Ark’s no-kill mission? Consider joining our Board of Directors.
Ours is a “working board,” meaning Board members are involved with the day-to-day operations of our shelter. It is not uncommon to see an Animal Ark Board member walking a dog, playing with the cats, mowing the lawn or even performing minor repairs around the shelter. This in addition to the behind-the-scenes, traditional board-related responsibilities like budgets, operations, partnerships, etc.
We’re seeking Board members who would work closely with our volunteers and help with office duties like confidential data entry. Marketing experience would be a plus. We could use your expertise getting the word out about our good work.
Animal Ark Members* of more than six months are eligible for consideration. The expected time commitment is two hours weekly. The rewards are immeasurable. Email board@animalarkmn.org for consideration.
