An Achievable New Year’s Resolution!
It’s that time of year again, when we all look at the calendar and realize another year has come and gone and we never joined the gym…didn’t give up caffeine…a whole list of resolutions and no check marks in the boxes. This year, why not pick an achievable and rewarding New Year’s Resolution: Volunteer at Animal Ark!
Our next Volunteer Orientation is Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10-11 a.m. at Animal Ark in Hastings. BECOME FAMILY to our Dogs and Cats! Sometimes the loving bond between Volunteers and the animals they visit grows so strong that they stay in touch after the animals find their Forever Homes. You’ll also meet some wonderful people who share your passion. Join us to learn more, and bring a friend!
To sign up: Go to animalarkmn.org/volunteer and complete the Volunteer Application. Then, read the informative documents listed at the bottom of the screen. It’s all info you need to know before beginning as a volunteer. We’ll have copies to sign at the Orientation. Also, please bring a valid ID and an insurance card with you. You need to show them in order to work with the animals. It’s for everybody’s protection.
Volunteers make their own schedules once they’ve attended orientation. And some of our dogs are energetic enough that taking them for a walk serves in lieu of a gym membership! Do something nice for yourself and our furry residents: Volunteer at Animal Ark in 2020!
