A fun day at Animal Ark!

A mild winter day means lot of fun outdoors! As always, our stalwart Animal Ark volunteers were at the shelter today making sure our dogs got some playtime in the snow. Both of the wonderful dogs pictured here are available for adoption! Visit them online here, and in person at Animal Ark!

And if you’ve ever considered becoming a volunteer at Animal Ark, our next orientation is Saturday, January 11, from 10-11 a.m. Learn more about it here!

This is Carmen, a charming two-year-old who joined us all the way from North Dakota. Carmen is such a friendly, playful pup you’d never know she began life in pretty rough circumstances.
This is Ranger, 11 years young and awaiting a home…but in the meantime, Ranger’s enjoying some playtime outdoors with the wonderful Animal Ark volunteers! Become a volunteer and enjoy a mild, winter’s walk with Ranger. Or better yet, adopt Ranger and enjoy a lifetime of companionship!

Share your stories!

Recently, we asked that Animal Ark adopters share pictures and stories about the pets they’ve adopted from us. People have begun doing just that! A couple folks were kind enough to post photos of their pets on our Facebook page

This Is Ellee, a.k.a. Jill. She was adopted from Animal Ark about 14 years ago. Ellee succumbed to cancer on 04/04/2017 and is dearly missed.
This is Boo, a.k.a. Farah, adopted from Animal Ark 9 years ago. Boo is absolutely adored in her forever home!
